We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to join our team in Auckland and develop the overall redevelopment plan for the Penrose Operations site.

This wil include overseeing the implementation, monitoring and updating of systems to ensure Work Health and Safety compliance, and being accountable for the development of project briefs, project plans and risk management plans

Some of the other key responsibilities will include :

Ensuring honesty in procurement and contracting arrangements

Managing and reporting on payment of consultants and contractors

Plan and oversee the forward works project procurement including engaging consultants and contractors responsible for delivering individual projects

Provide timely and accurate project reporting including cash flows, program milestones, various ad-hoc and critical BOC governance reporting

Ensure the correct statutory planning approval path is identified and undertaken for individual projects and programs including consultation with local Councils and regulatory authorities

Direct project delivery interfaces with service providers, design teams and construction companies while managing the project specified time, cost and quality framework.

Provide accurate and timely advice and recommendations on individual projects and programs.

Provide advice and support to develop and maintain constructive and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Actively develop effective partnerships with service providers, consultants and suppliers for all phases of projects from inception to completion

Provide mentoring and guidance to ensure personal and organisational development objectives are achieved and provide team building direction and support

It is expected you will have skills and experience including :

Degree qualification relating to either Engineering, Construction or Project Management.

Relevant tertiary and / or post graduate qualifications in Construction, Engineering is essential

Extensive experience in project / program management of construction and building related projects to a value of more than $20 million

Client Side Project Management experience and ability to be able to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders is essential.

Experience in brownfield redevelopment such as Manufacturing facility upgrades, Schools, Universities, Hospitals, Aviation or similar will be highly regarded
