Our Product Development team is part of our Digital Solutions business, responsible for building and maintaining software products for mobile and online banking.

This includes development of new features and enhancements, maintenance and support of existing features, technical design and documentation, integration, deployment and testing.

About the Opportunity :

As a result of the addition of a number of new scrum teams in Auckland, we are seeking a Scrum Master to join the team. In this role you’ll partner with product development Scrum teams to ensure they live by the principles, values and practices of Agile, and that Scrum is understood and enacted.

Your responsibilities :

Supporting multiple Teams based in Auckland and globally

Forming and developing new Teams to become highly effective

Mentoring and coaching the team in self-organization, self-direction and cross-functionality

Effective facilitation of all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand Up, Backlog grooming, Scrum-of-Scrums, Sprint Review / Demo, Retrospective meeting).

Support the team to identify and act on continuous improvement opportunities

Working with and educating stakeholders to protect the Team and their commitments

Participating in knowledge sharing with other Scrum Masters in the organization to leverage best practices, lessons learned, tools and other know-how to enable his / her own Scrum team to optimize its velocity and productivity

Increase the value of the Scrum Master role to the organisation

To be successful in this role you will bring :

Excellent communication and facilitation skills

High emphasis on self-driven continuous learning

Knowledgeable on new and upcoming Agile practices and techniques

Knowledge about in agile practices such as TDD, BDD, pair programming, automation

Ability to work with remote / distributed teams and teams with varying level of agile maturity
