A trainee will be expected to study and pass the Qualified Medical Laboratory Pre-analytical examination after an appropriate training period and subsequently register with the Medical Sciences Council of New ZealandThis is a permanent part time (0.
625 FTE) role, working rosters across all shifts.You will be joining our IANZ accredited, well equipped Laboratory working in specimen reception which receives and processes specimens for the analytical departments.
The workload is approximately 2500 specimens per day.Your function will consist of all routine aspects of specimen workflow and preparation for processing.
Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to follow specific instructions are key to this role.
Essential : A strong background education with NZQA recognised qualification which includes biology, chemistry and maths as relevant to the job.
