About the Role

Reporting to the Manager, Architecture and Assurance, the Manager Portfolio & Domain Architecture is a key level 5 manager role within Business Technology and Information Services (BT&IS).

It is responsible for providing leadership and practice guidance to the Strategy team of Portfolio and Domain architects within the Architecture and Assurance team, as well as assisting with the prioritisation and resourcing of work.

The role is pivotal in helping the Manager, Architecture and Assurance set and adopt the standards and frameworks that will assist the whole BT&IS team to deliver consistent quality outcomes to the business.

Mōu - About You

You will lead, inspire, create, and set the priorities for the Strategy team. With the Manager, Architecture and Assurance, you will help set the direction, standards, policies, and frameworks for the team.

You will have experience with :

  • Developing and maintaining Enterprise Architecture artefacts, such as vision documents, roadmaps, and strategic definition statements etc.
  • Managing relationships at a technical and business level, working with priorities and delivery timeframes.
  • Leadership and management, developing resource plans and providing guidance and mentoring.
  • Delivering quality outcomes in diverse and fast-moving environments.
  • Enterprise modelling, scoping, and reporting
  • Understanding of Operational Service Delivery models i.e., SecOps, DevOps, DataOps etc.

    Low level Security Clearance

  • most preferably a NZ citizen, who has resided continuously in NZ for at least the last five (5) years , OR
  • is a citizen of, and / or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries for the last five (5) years : either Australia, Canada, NZ, the United Kingdom (UK) or the United States of America (USA);
  • and has a background history that is verifiable and can be assessed as appropriate by the NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) towards a recommendation of suitability for a security clearance at this level.
