Community Forensics 40 Clarence Street, Hamilton Permanent - 80 hours per fortnight

The mental health andaddictions service deliver a variety of services across the Waikato region. Weare a service undertaking a huge programme of change to deliver better outcomesto tāngata whai ora and whānau in our region.

We know how important strong relationships are;with people who access our services, with their whānau and with the communitieswe serve.

Your work will encompass delivering mental health care toindividuals within the prisons in the midland region, community clients andclients transitioning out into the community.

There is also potential to beinvolved in writing court reports.

As a clinical psychologist you will provide a comprehensiveand quality service which is accessible, appropriate and culturally sensitiveworking in partnership with individuals and their families.

  • excellent assessmentskills
  • experience inimplementing interventions which enhance service user outcomes
  • the ability to managerelationships with multiple stake holders.
  • a current practicingcertificate
  • a current driverslicence
  • previous experiencein corrections or forensics would be advantageous.
