An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Activities Coordinator with a creative flair to join our wonderful team at the David Lange Care Home located in Mangere East.
As an Activities Coordinator within an aged care environment, you will provide leadership to the team of activities staff and promote a positive team approach within the David Lange Care Home.
You will identify the leisure activity needs of each individual resident based upon their interests, preferences, abilities, coordinating suitable activities programmes.
Key task and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and implement a programme of group and individual activitiesPan activities relevant to the individual needs, abilities, and interests of the residentsEnsure the residents are treated with respect, dignity, and cultural sensitivityDevelop and maintain positive relationships both internally and externally to support the activities programmeActively contribute to continuous improvement of activities and programmes.
