About the Role
Senior Procurement Specialist
The Senior Procurement Specialist will work closely with the Procurement Manager to provide commercial advice, coordination and management of procurement activity for the assigned portfolio.
You will be heavily involved in providing direction and leadership as well as developing procurement strategies, managing end to end tendering process and providing procurement expertise.
Your responsibilities include :
You will probably have experience in a challenging procurement environment, preferably a centralised function. Experience leading multiple complex procurement projects concurrently will be great, as will the demonstrated ability to persuade and influence people and make hard decisions.
Personally, you’ll relish and thrive in a high pace environment.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster good stakeholder relationships through consultation and partnership and be able to work at all levels both within the business and externally.
You’ll also probably have MCIPS or be studying towards it or equivalent experience and an extensive knowledge of procurement concepts, methodologies and commercial practices.
