The reason for the fixed term is due to the Student and Academic Services functional review, this is due to be completed by the 31st of December 2021.
In this role, you are primarily responsible for the logistical coordination, processes and related administration for the Grafton Campus Progress Tests (including off-site requirements) in association with schools, departments, and Central Services.
You will also manage the special condition requirements for Progress Tests and Prescribing Skills Assessments including client-focused administrative services to support the Faculty test activities and communication to the students along with overseeing the university examination processes at Grafton Campus and in conjunction with Central Services manages on-site requirements for all materials.
You will also act as a conduit between the Student and Academic Services team, academic schools and / or departments and other service providers both within and externally to the faculty and / or University to ensure examination and progress test processes and activities comply with University policy and are managed efficiently, consistently and meet service expectations.
This is a pivotal and rewarding role, where you will directly contribute to our student's experience of the University of Auckland under the guiding principles of Whakamana TangataAbout the team Mō tō mātou rōpūOur team comprises a team of 21 people and includes the Academic Service Coordination team (6) reporting to the Academic Services Team Leader, the Student Academic Advisors (8) reporting to the Student Centre Manager, Student Support Advisors (2), Academic Services Analyst (1), Faculty Exams Coordinator (1) reporting to the Student Academic Services & Engagement Manager.

Other important skills and experience for this role include experience working in a complex environment with tertiary students and academics, working to tight deadlines, your attention to detail and your ability to contribute new ideas to problem solve examinations related challenges as they arise.
Ideally, candidates will have knowledge and experience using Student Services Online (SSO), Oracle Service Cloud and proficiency in Microsoft suite of packages as well as familiarity with broader University processes.
