Ko t mtou mahi - Our RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Manager for service. This is a full time position, based at Middlemore Hospital working Monday-Friday.

Counties Mental Health (CMH) is leading the way in the provision of an integrated approach to mental health care and treatment.

We are also responding to He Ara Oranga the Government Response to The Mental Health Inquiry and are committed to increasing access and choice in Primary Mental Health responses.

CMH is committed to improving Equity for our population.In this role you will be reporting to our General Manager Mental Health and Addictions Funding and Planning.

You will be responsible for the planning, supporting and implementation of the Mental Health and Addictions (MH&A) strategies.

You will work collaboratively as part of a team to manage the MH&A portfolio and be responsible for related projects and to contribute to the achievement of Counties Manukau Health goals.

You will also manage contracts and key relationships across the Counties locality, district and regional or national levels where required.

Ng pmanawatanga u - What you will bringWe would like to hear from you if you have : A strong equity focus Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills A sound understanding of contract and financial management An ability to work flexibly in a changing environment Experience working in a co-design approach with consumers, family / Whaanau and stakeholders (internal and external) To be successful in this role you will need to have a recognised health or related tertiary qualification, a strong understanding of planning and funding processes, proven previous experience of leading change and an understanding of mental health and addiction care and treatment.
