The Delivery Manager role provides leadership in client management as well as team execution. The focus of the Delivery Manager role is to ensure that the team is performing optimally while ensuring the proper execution of projects.

This role in Consulting Services serves as both client-facing & hands-on, with a preview into ownership of a Delivery team.

Skills

  • 5+ years technology consulting and / or technology management experience
  • 2+ years cloud-based technology deployment experienceDegree / diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent experience
  • Ability to manage client escalations / red accounts and negotiate resolution
  • Deep understanding of cloud-based technologies and ability to translate customer / business requirements into business solutions and successfully position solutions with customers
  • Understands cloud-based technologies and demonstrates competency in the ability to translate customer / business requirements into business solutions
  • Proven ability to manage long-term, enterprise level engagements along with mid-market clients with multiple project tracks
  • Proven ability to manage and set client expectations
  • Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience building strong client relationships
  • Ability to coach and lead the performance of team members
  • Ability to provide open, direct, and constructive guidanceStrong collaboration and team building skills, with ability to work with all levels and roles of an organization
  • What you will be doing

  • Supports optimal performance from team from both projects and people management perspectives
  • Supports the handling of project escalations from clients and supports teams on resolutions
  • Oversee team’s deliverables to ensure successful execution of projects Traction style’ : on time, within budget, and in highest quality
  • Responsible for proactive client management with dedicated attention to red accounts
  • Supports The metrics of team including (but not limited to) utilization, turnover, staffing decisions
  • Manage project roadblocks and provide technical guidance
  • Create customer retention strategies with attention to renewed engagements and increased revenue opportunities
  • Supports the progress of their team members’ learning, development, and career goals through career development programs
  • Partners with Consulting Operations to determine and monitor trends, data, and resourcing decisions
  • Consulted for team members’ compensation and performance management needs and changesIdentify outliers in project allocations and solve resourcing issues for upcoming projects
  • Mentor future leaders of Traction by coaching team members
  • Other duties as required
