About the role
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, reliable individual to join our Te Aho Māori Ngaiotanga team.
Some key areas of responsibility will include :
Scoping and facilitating kaupapa Māori related professional learning across Māori medium, English medium and other non-education sector learning communities.
Facilitating learning onsite, remotely and asynchronously.
Delivering external contracts including Regionally Allocated PLD as well as CORE products and services.
Demonstrating commitment to Te Tiriti of Waitangi by applying CORE values and Te Aho Tapu as a lens across all aspects of mahi for CORE
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in facilitating professional learning to adult learners
Delivering effective learning programmes through curriculum frameworks including TMoA, Te Aho Matua and / or NZC.
Agile, proactive with the ability to work flexibly when required juggling multiple deadlines.
Good level of competence in oral and written Māori as well as English.
Proven experience in all / some of the following :
Marau ā-kura / Local curriculum design
Hangarau Matihiko or strength at least one other curriculum learning area
Building cultural capability including Tiriti o Waitangi focused learning
Effective pedagogies in teaching of and through te reo Māori
