    Due to our journey, we have an exciting opportunity for a Design Delivery Lead to join our team. This is a fulltime, 12- month fixed term, role position ideally based in Auckland, with flexible working options available.

    The purpose of the Design Delivery Lead is to drive design production activities across customer experience, service design and user experience.

    The Design Delivery Lead will organise, plan, prioritise and drive delivery of design activities. This requires the role-holder to build and maintain key stakeholder relationships across our business and manage design workflow using agile methodologies

    Some day-to-day responsibilities include :

  • Establishing ways of working and formulating workflow processes collaboratively with the design teams and key stakeholders.
  • Establishing processes for design and insights work requests to be triaged, scoped and assigned to the correct areas of research, insights and / or design.
  • Facilitating planning, sizing and understanding of design activities
  • Working with design leads to create a roadmap of future design activities and workloads.
  • Creating detailed design delivery plans using appropriate planning and project management tools.
  • Being the key contact point for our partners for design activities.
  • Managing design activities and design production for all designers.
  • Working with design leads and delivery leads to forecast demand for design activities.
  • Collaborating with technology, risk and legal teams to enable the implementation of tools that support experience design, UX design, research and insights.
  • About You

    With 5+ years’ proven experience within a UX and / or HCD delivery role you tackle tasks with a customer centric approach.

    You are a strategic thinker with the ability to understand business needs and deliver great results. You’ll be an exceptional collaborator and have the communication and influencing skills to manage and lead your stakeholders to operational excellence.

    You are highly resilient and thrive in fast-paced agile working environments.

    Together with this you will bring :

  • Relevant experience leading delivery for design teams in a large organisation or agency.
  • Sound knowledge of user experience and human centered design is required.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to self-manage deadlines and priorities.
  • A team player attitude
  • Experience within the Financial Services sector is desirable.
  • A qualification in project management is desirable.
