About the role

Are you an enthusiastic marketer keen to work on national behaviour change campaigns that reach into the community? Do you want to champion communities who experience the greatest health challenges and inequities to make sure the marketing we deliver is evidence-based and has the audiences' needs at the heart of it?

We work on brands and programmes like Smokefree, QuitStrong, Say Yeah, Nah, SunSmart, Minimising Gambling Harm, Nutrition and Physical Activity and Mental Wellbeing, including the National Depression Initiative and Like Minds, Like Mine.

You may have worked for government, an agency, a non-government organisation (NGO), or in the commercial sector. You will be able to demonstrate strategic thinking, and enjoy a challenge.

You will have significant experience in managing ambiguity and shaping work, collaborative campaign planning, development and delivery, including contract and budget management.

It is highly desirable that you have experience marketing to Māori and / or Pasifika audiences, and have evidence of cultural competence.

Ideally we are looking for a senior marketer, but for the right candidate we would consider someone at intermediate level.
