The Paediatric Department at Whakatane Hospital in theEastern Bay of Plenty is seeking to recruit a General Paediatrician tocomplement our team.
The FTE for thisposition is negotiable but will include participating in ward service and afterhours call for general Paediatrics and level 2 neonates on a 1 : 4 roster.
The position is based in Whakatane but the Eastern Bay ofPlenty has clinical responsibility for a wide geographical area stretchingtowards the East Cape, Murupara and Te Puke with outreach clinics in Te Kaha,Opotiki, Taneatua and Kawerau.
We welcome applications from both recently trained andexperienced paediatricians.Additionalexperience and / or training in Development Paediatrics, Community Paediatrics,and the assessment and management of child sexual abuse would be an advantage.
You will be joining a group of highly motivatedmulti-skilled General Paediatricians who are committed to working collegiallywith each other and with a multidisciplinary Child Health Team to provide highquality, responsive medical care for children.
