Job Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Evaluate problems, determine and initiate appropriate action and provide necessary information relative to product application, current orders, delivery schedules, product availability, etc.
  • by maintaining close contact and a harmonious relationship with customers, suppliers and internal activities

  • Confer with sales management and other internal functions to determine price, establish delivery priorities, resolve supply issues and communicate with customers as appropriate, in a proactive and customer-focused manner.
  • Assume responsibility for the processing of customer orders, including hose kits, from order entry to shipment of product, including the selection / recommendation of alternative products, if necessary, in conjunction with appropriate Sales Engineer and other company technical personnel, products sourcing, coordination of product conversion through the warehouse, routine credits, etc.
  • Support the sales staff with projects as required.
  • Background & Skills

    The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar technical customer service / internal sales position
  • Minimum of an engineering trade certificate, tertiary qualifications desirable.
  • Ability to build a strong rapport with customers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience using Oracle or similar ERP packages would be advantageous.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
