We are seeking an experienced and dynamic 'people focused' Store Manager to lead and inspire their team to deliver outstanding results.

With full responsibility for the stores performance you will need to have analytical skills that allow you to identify when change is required.

You will need to mentor and develop your management team in all aspects of store culture, customer service, merchandising, stock control, leadership, sales and OH&S.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Lead a high performing team in the delivery of world class customer service
  • Deliver results through your ability to influence stakeholders and build lasting relationships
  • Attract, select and train talented and passionate employees and develop succession plans
  • Maximise sales and profitability by soliciting, identifying and delivering on opportunities for growth
  • Lead change and implement business initiatives in support of enriching the team and customer experience
  • To be considered for this role you need to be able to meet the following selection criteria :

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Hold previous big-box management, or area management experience within a retail environment
  • Demonstrate a strong customer focus and competently deal with customer queries and complaints
  • Have extensive experience in managing budgets and maximising profits
  • Demonstrate ability in stock management, merchandising and shrinkage prevention processes
  • Be self motivated, prioritising workloads to meet deadlines
  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
  • Demonstrate a strong awareness of health and safety policies
  • Have an eye for detail, with the ability to problem solve and adapt to change
