Your RoleYou will focus on customer engagement, satisfaction, retention and reactivation through high levels of service quality and close collaboration with our Customer Care team.
This role is primarily tasked with developing + diversifying business so that income increases, guaranteeing the future growth of the organization for LCL.
Your ResponsibilitiesYou will focus on the following core tasks;Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients and increasing LCL client baseDeveloping growth strategies and plans for LCLHaving an in-depth knowledge of business products and value propositionWriting business proposalsEnsuring the correct pricing is available to profitably grow the business in collaboration with the Pricing teamSupporting sales during sales calls and creating customer specific value propositionsIdentifying and mapping business strengths and customer needsResearching business opportunities and viable income streamsFollowing industry trends locally and internationallyReporting on successes and areas needing improvementsAct in compliance with all KN policies, guidelines and regulationsYour Skills and ExperiencesA successful track record in international freight forwarding, including a minimum of 2 years in a management positionA background in business development and knowledge around LCL is essentialStrong business acumen and communication skillsAbility to take responsibility for a division right up to P+LFantastic communication and interpersonal skillsPassion for sales and bringing new business on boardYou will have strong analytical skills ability to review and adapt processes where required with a view to improving costs and efficiency.
Part of this position will be to provide our senior management team with relevant, quantified and clear information on market activity.
