The Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) team are responsible for the safe onboarding and ongoing maintenance of third parties to BNZ.
This is performed through assessing BNZ's third parties across multiple risk domains, ensuring their initial and ongoing compliance to applicable Policy, Regulations and Law.
This is a new function and we're looking for several Assessors to join the team on this journey.Te Kaiurungi About the RoleIn this role, you will provide third party controls assessment support and advice to BNZ's businesses.
You'll be critical in driving the understanding of third party controls and ensuring our third-party risk management has the necessary rigour to protect the bank.
Day to day you will : Review completeness and quality of new third party onboarding requests, providing feedback to requestorsManage the engagement and communication between business, third party and necessary risk domainsUsing information provided, assesses the third-party capability to mitigate key bank risks against agreed internal guidance / criteria, and lead the negotiation of solutions where mitigations are currently not present.
Perform annual due diligence activities on third parties to ensure ongoing and sustainable compliance to the bank's requirementsProvide ongoing progress updates to key bank stakeholders during the assessment and annual due diligence processesŌ Pūkenga About YouWe're looking for experience working across and a deep understanding of key Financial Services related risk domains including Information Security, Data Privacy, Business Continuity, Operational, Health & Safety and Environmental Social & Governance (ESG).
You'll be a keen learner and will enjoy the opportunity to broaden your knowledge across other areas. You'll also bring : experience in working in an operational environment, following defined processes through to conclusion.
