The Role

The business is looking for an experienced Payroll and HR Administrator to take on this new and varied role.

Reporting to the HR Manager the role is primarily responsible for Payroll processing and supporting the recruitment activities of the company.

Responsibilities include :

Coordinating all aspects of the recruitment process

Processing the fortnightly Payroll for two Hansen companies

Maintaining and updating training records

Developing Work Instructions and SOPs

Acting as a back-up to the Health & Safety Coordinator

Providing administrative support as required

To be successful, you will have :

At least 2 years’ experience as a Payroll administrator

Exposure to recruitment, HR and H&S practices

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The ability to prioritise, and adapt easily, with great time management skills.

A methodical and systematic approach to work with a sharp eye for detail.

You will have a working knowledge of current employment legislation, particularly the Holidays Act and be conversant with IRD filing requirements.
