The Senior Specialist for Active & Shared Modes, takes a supporting role in ensuring infrastructure projects are taking into account of and accommodating in their designs the implementation of active modes (walking and cycling) and emerging shared mobility transport options (including, e-bikes, shared bikes, e-scooters, shared scooters, mobile motorised devices, car sharing and ride-share) modes.
Key Responsibilities include : Providing assistance and support in setting and maintaining the transport infrastructure technical and design standards for multi-modal, sustainable and environmental outcomes (AT's Transport Design Manual) with subject matter expert input on active modes and shared mobility requirements for transport infrastructure including urban design principles.
Assist in providing quality assurance, design reviews and approvals, and compliance against AT technical and design standards of third party designs of future AT assets and upgrades to existing AT assets n for active and shared modes.
