The Ministry of Health is the lead Public Health agency on the national COVID-19 response and has established the COVID-19 Health System Response Directorate to provide oversight of all activities contributing to the Ministry's COVID-19 response.
The National Investigation and Tracing Centre team forms a critical function within the COVID-19 Health System Response Directorate.
The team is responsible for managing the integrity of the data and flow of information in the National Contact Tracing Solution and operationalising changing policies.
The team is now working tactically to utilise tools built in the COVID-19 response for managing other infectious diseases and this role will be a key player in this.
The team operates seven days a week and some weekend work may be required.
Te whainga poto o tēnei tūranga What is the purpose of this position?
The Team Leader Triage manages a team of Lead Analysts, Senior Analysts and Analysts who provide operational support and process development for National Contact Tracing Solution data as well as supporting the implementation of change across the Service.
This team has a strong focus on working to the team's strengths and maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture.
You will enjoy working flexibly with a range of stakeholders, internally and externally. You will be accountable for the planning, coordinating, development and implementation of operational and clinical policies and processes that support the delivery of case investigation and contact tracing services.
In addition, you will support the ongoing engagement with PHUs and other organisations to enable case investigation and contact tracing services.

All Ministry workers on our sites or Ministry workers who conduct in-person business need to be vaccinated for COVID-19.

This position has a salary range of $117,363 - $140,000 The offered salary will be based on skills and experience.
