Mō te tūnga About the role

You will provide trusted, insightful and comprehensive financial advice to your relevant business areas and maintain financial integrity of results and provide value-add consolidated reports that are accurate and astute.

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner - Youth Justice this role will work closely with the Regional Management Accounting team and Finance Business Partner Youth Justice to ensure that key stakeholder business objectives are being met in a consistent and proactive manner.

This role requires a passion to actively support the team keeping mokopuna at the centre of everything we do.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu What will you bring

Key attributes to be considered but not limited to, will include :

Experience undertaking in depth financial analysis and providing advice to management

Strong business acumen with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proven ability to develop trust and credibility with managers and staff

Exceptional learning agility that will have you quickly understanding our financial policies, systems and necessary compliance

Experience in training non-financial managers on financial requirements and systems

Your demonstrated ability to ensure the provision of accurate monthly reporting and forecasting for your business units.

To be considered for the role you should have a relevant tertiary qualification; it's advantageous to be CA or equivalent qualified or working towards this;

and have experience in a large complex environment.
