About the role
Our Operations software team designs and builds the tools needed by our Launch Operators to successfully execute Factory-to-Orbit missions.
There's a lot logical / algorithmic programming involved, and real-time data capture functions for later telemetry analysis.
These applications have been built using a cross-section of Software Engineering disciplines, mainly C# desktop & services, and we're moving toward our custom Go / MicroServices environment.
This is not a role developing the software for the actual flight systems and avionics on the Rocket Lab vehicles themselves.
Instead, this team develops the applications that enable our Launch Team to securely and safely execute a rocket launch - consistently pursuing safer, faster and better launch procedures.
