Fast broadband (UFB) Roll Out - will provide UFB access to 90%+ of all properties by 2018 / 19. The sheer size of the project requires thorough levels of planning and progress inspections of civil and traffic management aspects in addition to final inspections, ensuring reinstatements are to standard.

To expedite this crucial work we require a UFB Compliance Auditor to join our Road Corridor Access team.UFB Compliance Auditors work in a collaborative and advisory manner with stakeholders to ensure the deployment of Auckland region's UFB programme is effective and efficient, and completed in accordance with agreed conditions and traffic management plans.

Reporting to the UFB Relationship Manager this key role also requires you to facilitate stakeholder communications both proactively and in response to customer feedback regarding UFB deployment and related activities.

Your aim is to provide customer resolutions which will see you driving to various Auckland locations and working with diverse individuals, stakeholder groups and businesses.

People who listen before acting, who communicate thoughtfully and effectively, have ability to negotiate with diverse stakeholders and ultimately find agreed resolutions -

are well suited to this role. You will also have the some or all of the following : Preferably a tertiary qualification in civil engineering or related discipline -

degree, diploma or certificate.An understanding of relevant codes and standards such as : Code of Practice for Temporary Traffic Management and the National Code of Practice for Utility Operators Access to Transport Corridors.

Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) - level 1, with level 2 / 3 NP advantageous.Ideally experience in a transport operational role involving traffic management aspects.

Knowledge of road maintenance and construction methods.Some understanding of relevant legislations such as LGA, RMA, and or Utility Access, Electricity, Gas or Telecommunications Acts.

Tact, diplomacy and conflict resolution skills.Organisational and forward planning ability.A full clean driver's license is essential.
