In this role, you will work with the wider Digital Trust Team and other parts of the business to help our people, processes and technologies operate in ways that are ethically and legally sound.
WHO YOU REPORT TO
You report to the Lead Digital Trust Partner in our Legal COE .
WHAT YOU'RE RESPONSIBLE FOR
You'll provide guidance on how Spark can meet customer expectations, comply with legal obligations and Spark policies, and use data in a way that's good for customers and good for Spark.
On a day-to-day basis, the work includes : Leading out on customer compliance communications (think migrations, changes, billing fix-ups), and advising Spark teams when they lead out on compliance commsCreating clear communications to make complex issues simple for Spark customersProducing guidance to help our people do what's right by our customersResponding to data breaches and writing data breach notificationsAssessing Spark processes, products and services for privacy implicationsAdvising how to make things right for customers if Spark has made an errorDeveloping tools to help our customers stay safe online, and advising the business on ways to help our customers avoid scams and interact safely with us.
WHAT SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU NEED
You hold a degree, perhaps in the arts or another humanities discipline
You have a special talent for writing that you have developed through your studies, work experience or other activities
You appreciate that using the right words in the right way at the right time can make a world of difference
You have an excellent eye for detail while you maintain sight of the big picture
You are curious, analytical and willing to get to the heart of an issue before drawing conclusions
You have outstanding communication and critical thinking skills
You're driven to learn and will pick things up fast
You are energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated
You are level-headed, professional, approachable and able to engage constructively and build relationships with a diverse range of people
You are self-driven and highly organised, but comfortable changing track when priorities shift at short notice
