We have an exciting new role available for an Employment Relations (ER) Associate to join our People team.
In this role you will support the ER Lead to support stakeholders across the Bank to provide expert consultancy services on significant employment relations issues.
Partnering with the People and Legal teams, you will assist with the development and implementation of ER policies and practices that support ASB's purpose, culture & values.
You will champion ER knowledge & policy development, understanding changes in legislation and implementing them within ASB.
What you will bring
Critical to your success will be your strong working knowledge of NZ employment legislation and practice, and a broad understanding of people issues in an ER context.
You will have a background in a similar HR Advisory or ER role and ideally have a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, or tertiary qualification in Law.
Experience with workplace investigations, disciplinary management, difficult ER issues, policy design and alternative dispute resolution will make you an ideal candidate for this role.
A strong ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organisation with a focus on delivering great customer outcomes and engaging people experiences.
