Our New Zealand team is growing rapidly. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to help us expand our presence.

This is a full-time position, supported by a team based in Auckland, New Zealand, with flexible working hours. Must speak fluent Mandarin and English.

This role is focused on generating targeted leads in the New Zealand Chinese community through :

  • In-person and online events
  • Wechat Marketing
  • Partnerships
  • What are the main responsibilities for this role?

  • Develop, coordinate and host marketing activities in Chinese & English such as webinars, school talks, expos, competitions, and seminars based on timeliness and sales forecasts
  • Manage and support end-to-end planning, execution, and optimisation of events
  • Create marketing collateral in Chinese & English to create a positive customer experience to increase conversions
  • Work to develop / enhance lead generation methods by identifying opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels
  • Identify press opportunities and create content for media / Wechat
  • Reach out to organizations and foster discussions to generate partnerships
  • Monitor leads and conversions from all channels : events, PR, content, Wechat, and more, including weekly / monthly reporting
  • What skills and experience are required?

  • 5+ years experience in marketing or PR
  • Graduate-level Chinese & English reading, writing, and editing skill - experience with public speaking and presenting
  • Full cycle event management experience
  • Experience in Wechat marketing
  • A strong understanding of sales and marketing practices in the Chinese community
  • A keen sense of numbers and reporting
  • Excellent time-management, planning, and organizational skills
  • Resilience under pressure
  • Flexibility and a willingness to adapt and improvise where needed
  • An innovative and initiative-driven mindset
