He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi About the role

Reporting to the General Manager People & Capability (GM P&C), in the role of Head of People Experience you will lead the business partnering team in fostering excellence in the provision of people and capability services to ensure Watercare continues to deliver lifeline water and wastewater services.

In this role you will be :

  • Driving strategic outcomes and support Watercare through a period of significant change
  • Actively collaborating with the wider People leadership team
  • Partnering with senior leaders
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of a people strategy that champions and empowers a safe, inclusive, and high performing culture
  • Embedding and continually improve reliable core HR functions
  • Driving the execution of D&I strategy and initiatives
  • Ensuring best practice HR management of performance and disciplinary processes
  • Actively contributing to the Kia Ora Tāmaki Makaurau journey and embody the organisation's commitment to be a treaty - responsive organisation

  • Demonstrated excellent leadership, motivation, people, and relationship management skills
  • A strategic thinker who is able to see the 'big picture' and execute strategic priorities
  • A collaborative approach which allows you to deliver to different business units
  • If you have the following skills and experience, we would love to hear from you :

  • In-depth knowledge of HR practices and employment law
  • HR Leadership experience within a complex organisation
  • Tertiary qualification (business, human resources, or similar)
