Our Systems Administrators will be accountable for the management and support of our systems to ensure they meet the operating needs of the organisation.

About the role :

This role will ensure systems are available and performing by planning, development, installation, configuration, maintenance, support and optimisation of systems at the Society.

Day to day you will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide technical support and monitor, analyse and report on systems performance.

You will build capability ensuring effective knowledge sharing and coaching occurs across the team.

About you :

  • Proven experience working with complex enterprise systems and understanding of Information Technology.
  • Demonstrable experiences working with multiple systems in highly regulated environments.
  • Demonstrates mindset of agility and a flexible and adaptive working approach.
  • We’d like to hear from you if you have experience with any of the following :

  • Maintaining SLAs, Troubleshooting Tier 2 & 3 problems.
  • PowerShell.
  • Azure cloud services (IaaS, PaaS & SaaS) administration, patching (e.g. security) and configuration management. We are also interested in AWS and Google cloud experience.
  • Azure DevOps, Service Now, and Workday and service integration between these three using TaskTop.
  • Azure Identity and Access Management (IAM), Azure Active Directory, and Role Based Access Controls (RBAC) administration.
  • Secrets Management including SSL / TLS1.2 certificates, API keys and passwords. Azure Key Vault.
  • MS Active Directory, MS Window Server and MS SQL Server 2012 and above, MS Windows 10 and Office 365 (SharePoint etc.)
  • MS Exchange and Remote Desktop Server, MS Domain Controller, System Centre (SCCM), Intune.
  • Linux OS and Oracle database administration.
  • Citrix StoreFront.
  • Accellion products such as Kiteworks.
  • Supporting firewall products or applications.
  • Kubernetes, container orchestration administration, or a desire to learn.
  • Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) administration, or a desire to learn.
