Are you an experienced clinician looking for your next challenge?Work with New Zealand's leading DHBPermanent, Full time roleThis is a great opportunity for an experienced Speech Language Therapist with an interest in rehabilitation to join the Auckland DHB Community Rehabilitation team!As a member of our team you work with adults of all ages to enable them to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

You will gain clinical experience with a wide variety of neurological conditions including stroke and post-neurological surgery.

We are a supportive team of professionals providing high quality rehabilitation input for the Auckland community. We have a strong IDT focus and value collaborative team working.

We deliver rehabilitation in a flexible, client centred way in the community, the client’s home, in our clinic and in group settings.

We are looking for an individual who : Has a passion for provision of quality rehabilitationHas experience working in the community or outpatients setting (desired but not essential)Is competent in Videofluoroscopic Swallowing StudiesSound knowledge and practice in stroke and neuro rehabHas effective clinical reasoning skills and values evidence based practiceStrives to build knowledge and skillsRole models excellent communication and interpersonal skillsIs open to new challenges and experiencesOur commitment to you is to provide : A fun and supportive collegial teamProfessional support and mentoringExceptional professional development opportunitiesYou must have a current NZSTA Annual Practising Certificate and a clean drivers licence.
