The South Taranaki District Council is seeking a proactive and motivated individual to fill this key position in the Information Technology Team.
This is a permanent full-time 40 hour per week position based at the Administration Building in Hawera and will report to the Chief Information Officer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, design and operational maintenance of the organisation's ICT environment through the provision of technical support and advice to users across multiple locations, platforms and technologies.
The purpose of this role is to manage, monitor and report on all installed systems and infrastructure (on-site or elsewhere), to ensure systems and infrastructure availability.
This role will also provide advice on proposed technologies, the integration of these, and any security risk, while ensuring effective security measures are in place.
It will also manage and oversee the work of the Systems Engineer and the ICT ServiceDesk Officer.
