Based from our depot in Queenstown, we are on the look-out for a Mower Operator to join our Queenstown Lakes District team.
In this varied role you will be responsible for general parks maintenance including but not limited to mowing, weed eating, basic mechanical maintenance of plant, spraying and litter collection.
At times, (specifically during the winter months), you will be assisting the wider team with other duties which may include mulching, clearing waterways, hedge trimming, playground aeration, shade sail erection and cleaning
The Success Factors
A broad range of skills including previous mowing experience using a WAM or a Zero Turn mower and small plant is preferred
Basic mechanical maintenance skills for a range of mowers and small plant
An awesome work ethic, a can-do attitude and being committed to being part of a winder team is key
A current full driver's licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle is and a class 2 license essential
Be able to work flexible hours to meet the client's requirements
Must demonstrate a positive attitude towards working safely
Be reliable, punctual, co-operative, and maintain positive working relationships.
Have excellent communication and record-keeping skills
