Currently, we're looking to add to our team of 1,200 employees and have an opportunity for an experienced Factory Engineer # 1 .
Factory Engineer # 1 role :
This role requires supervisory skills for the # 2 Factory Engineer, the ability to maintain and optimise utilisation of factory fish filleting machinery through innovation and continuous improvement, operating a preventative maintenance program, maintaining all conveyor belts, trio skinning machines, hydraulics and pumps to their optimum capacity, monitoring electrical systems, stainless steel repairs and maintenance of the fishmeal plant as required.
Assisting in the engine room when required and assisting with fish processing duties on the factory deck as required.
Passionate about the sea, fishing, and developing your career in the industry, including gaining qualifications while you work .
Trip lengths on the Ocean Dawn range from 35-45 days and crew operate on a trip on, trip off rotation. The hours of work are generally shift rotations of 8 hours on and 8 hours off and all meals provided by our experienced cooks.
