About the Historic Claims team
The Ministry of Social Development (MSD) provides an Alternative Disputes Resolution Service (ADRS) to assist claimants address concerns and abuse whilst in State care.
The ADRS is underpinned by the principles of Tikanga Māori, Mana, Aroha, Whakapapa, Whānaungatanga, Manaakitanga and Pono.
The team is currently made up of highly culturally responsive people who are specialists in assessing claims.
About this role
You will collate information about a claimant’s time in care by assessing and providing a recommendation to complete their claim.
This role is pivotal to helping claimants.
What you will need to succeed :
In addition, the Senior Claims Assessor will :
Relevant tertiary qualification or equal experience is desirable for those interested in a senior role.
