The Opportunity

As a Senior Commercial Lending Adviserat Findex you will be responsible for building quality relationships bothinternally and externally in order to create a robust lending referral networkin Auckland and beyond.

As a Senior Commercial Lender, youwill represent Findex and will be responsible for packaging commercial loantransactions for our Findex customers and presenting them to funders.

You will be able to negotiate termswith funders and ensure that you are meeting all the external (Bank) andinternal credit and risk guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing, developing and promoting Findex offering, ensuring that growth, profitability and customer service targets are met within required standards.
  • Identifying potential and future transactions and submitting proposals to funders on behalf of clients. Obtaining a high customer service standard through personal performance, efficiency and productivity levels
  • Fielding all internal and external funding requests efficiently
  • Managing a commercial loan portfolio and building internal and external referral sources
  • Qualifications & Experience

  • 3-5 years in a similar Client Relationship Manager - commercial banking / finance broking role
  • Managing client portfolio experience
  • Experience in lending to all sectors is preferable and have a good working knowledge of banking products (e.g. Commercial Loans, Equipment Finance and Working Capital Facilities)
  • Credit writing experience required
  • Previous experience in managing internal and external stakeholders
  • Business degree or similar is preferred
  • Be RFA (Registered Financial Advisor) accredited or happy to become accredited
  • Banking or Finance Broking experience (mandatory)
  • Ability to build and develop productive relationships
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
