TE HIRINGA MATUA MATAORA - 1.0 FTE We are looking for new team members to join Te Hiringa Matua. This new service has been operating for 10 months and is delivered across all of Tairawhiti.
It is driven by Matauranga Maori supporting hapu mama and whanau, particularly those experiencing significant addiction and for whom current support services are not reaching.
We are looking for someone who : Has a qualification, tertiary education or expertise in Matauranga Maori A "Go-getter" attitude Is honest and reliable Will always "walk the talk" Is computer literate Has current driver's licence Will be cleared to be a Mataora with pepi and tamariki as a core worker (Vulnerable Children's Act) If you have the attributes, skills, experience and desire to join us, apply today.
You might also have other interests / skills that would add more colour to the Maori culture in Tairawhiti which is already rich and varied.
Maybe you participate in traditional or contemporary arts. You might practice carving, weaving, kapa haka, whaikorero or ta moko.

Remuneration will be negotiated based on qualification, skills and experience and the successful candidate will be required to undergo and pass a pre-employment drugs screen.
