This exciting role is your opportunity to really make a difference in the heart of local government. We are seeking a team leader for our professional, hard-working administration team.
We provide administration support services across the organisation, ranging from overseeing LGOIMA requests and Privacy Act matters to minute taking, and processing travel bookings, through to ensuring the smooth running of workshops and meetings.
You will relish the variety that this role offers. No two days will be the same! There will be a combination of reactive and proactive work, where you will be hands on supporting the team and coordinating the flow of work, as well as having the opportunity to lead your own projects, be part of a leadership network, and contribute to Council-wide initiatives.
We’re looking for someone who brings strong technical administrative skills, but is also able to step back from the operation and lead.
We’re all about lifting Council performance, and our excellence in administration will absolutely contribute to that vision.
Bring your inspiration and diversity, and join us as we look to continuously improve.
Your excellent written and interpersonal skills and ability to form strong working relationships is important, and your knowledge of local government and relevant legislation will be an absolute advantage in this fast paced environment.
