The Bay of Plenty District Health Board (BOPDHB) is spread across a vast geographical area and centred across two hospitals based in Tauranga and Whakatāne.
The BOPDHB is one of the Bay of Plenty's largest employers with over 4000 staff.
He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
We currently have a permanent part-time Orderly position available at Tauranga Hospital. Hours to be worked are Thursday, Friday and Saturday 2pm to 10.
30pm on a set roster fortnightly.
Our main role is to transfer patients, equipment and other vital supplies throughout the hospital and campus. Driving tasks both around campus and off site forms a part of your working day so a clean, full NZ driver's licence is required.

To work within a busy Orderly Department, you must be comfortable working under pressure, be able to stand for long periods and be physically fit to carry out the required tasks.
This role is predominately customer service and you should be able to demonstrate great experiences and skills in this area.
You must be prepared to go the extra mile in accordance with our CARE values.
Our role is varied, and time bound, therefore the ability to follow instructions is a requirement.
