Our team at Te Whare o Te Rito arecurrently looking for an ICAMHS crisis worker.
A specific focus ofthis role includes being the first contact and to provide a community basedresponse to Tamariki and Rangatahi and their whānau experiencing distress.
It is desirable thesuccessful applicant have a strong whānau centric focus, ability to buildrelationships and collaborate with whānau and community networks to offer arange of interventions as indicated by whānau.
In conjunction with whanauestablish and undertake assessment and supportive plans, while working alongsidethem to build relationships and provide a meaningful experience.
Acknowledgment andan understanding of Te Ao Māori is also desirable as Tairāwhiti hasa strong iwi and cross sector leadership recognising Māori as tangatawhenua, as a result Tairāwhiti is a culturally significant and innovativeregion.
