Support role to ensure effectiveness of the General Manager's way of working
Work with the Office Manager, Office of the Chief Executive for professional development and mentoring
Permanent position based in Wellington You will be a member of the WorkSafe Administration Network and work with the Office Manager, Office of the Chief Executive for systems, processes, professional development and mentoring.
We are currently recruiting an Executive Assistant for the General Manager Digital and Information Services.The successful candidate will :
Develop a supportive and effective working relationship with the General Manager that supports their group's priorities, values, goals and ways of working
Use systems efficiently and make use of technology to work smarter and enhance productivity
Ensure diary management, monitor and screen phone calls, emails and other communications
Identify any potential issues the General Manager should be aware of and respond appropriately
Proactively manage day to day matters on behalf of the General Manager
Organise meetings and prepare the General Manager to support their participation in the meeting
Use your discretion to deal with high level, urgent, confidential and sensitive issues where appropriate
Establish and maintain key internal relationships, in particular with Commercial Services, ICT, and external relationships
In accordance with WorkSafe policies and procedures
arrange travel through travel provider
process invoices using FMIS
coordinate events and catering
ensure effective information managementWe are looking for someone who :
Has a proven track record in providing administrative support to executives
Is quick, flexible, and adaptable
Has excellent time management skills and is able to multitask
Is a team player
Has proven relationship management skills
Has strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
Demonstrates proactive approach and takes initiative
