00am - 4.30pm Salary : $47,100 - $56,497 depending on experience ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly motivated, competent and organised person to join our Medical Records Adminstration Service in the Central Medical Records Department, with good mobility and ability to meet daily deadlines.

Medical Records Clerks are responsible for electronic tracking of all records, preparing, creating and maintaining records for all patient encounters, dealing daily with a high volume of main filing, loose filing within specified timeframes.

These roles also deal with a high volume of phone calls as well as processing electronic requests. The successful applicant will also deal with retrieving, locating and tracking of records using our in-house electronic system.

Also liaises closely with all departments, T!MG Security, Security Orderlies Services as well as wth clinical staff DUTIES Good organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise large workloads The ability to maintain a high level of accuracy under pressure Knowledge of the privacy act and other legislation Effective in both written and verbal communication Intermediate computer skills (microsoft word,outlook and excel) Previous filing management experience.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Previous filing management experience an advantage. A miniumum of one year administration experience ?

Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment ?Demonstrates an eye for detail, accuracy and problem solving. ?
