Your Role

We’re excited to have the opportunity to add a Firmware Engineer to our hardware team based in Dunedin. We are looking for a collaborative and focused engineer who can create and maintain firmware for peripherals including sampling and A / D systems, communications, signal processing and operating systems.

Our team of engineers love working on new, innovative changes to our products that get the best results for our customers.

There is significant cross-functional collaboration with colleagues in Dunedin and across the globe, so strong communication skills and effective teamwork are essential.

We’re excited about you because you’ll bring :

  • A tertiary qualification in Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related field of study, or relevant experience.
  • Previous experience with firmware design and implementation.
  • Experience with embedded processor development.
  • Programming experience with C++ and C (assembly languages desirable)
  • Understanding of operating system design.
  • Ability to empathise with customers, understand their problems and communicate with them in a professional way.
  • Confidence in expressing your opinions and working collaboratively to find solutions
