An opportunity has arisen in our Gas Maintenance and Capital Works Business Unit for a Reinstator based at our Albany depot.
Key responsibilities include : Carrying out minor permanent surface reinstatement activities on the gas network.Ensuring the industry standards and specifications are met.
Liaising with landowners on reinstatement matters and applying appropriate customer service as required on behalf of the client.
Carrying out emergency response activities including participation in the gas division 24 hour call roster.Providing technical support for Field Operation teams.
Contributing to new developments and initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.Ensuring that work is carried out to required standards and plans, stopping work if unsafe or not to standard, reporting QSE issues that arise and managing risks in the workplace.
The ideal candidate will have : A valid Class Two truck driver's licence (preferred but not essential)Digger Licence (preferred but not essential)Relevant trade qualificationMechanical aptitudeFlexibility to deal with adverse weather and access issuesGood customer service and public relation skillsAble to work in a wider team and contribute to team performanceElectrix will offer an attractive remuneration package to the right candidate that includes fully funded medical insurance and generous contributions to KiwiSaver.
