We re looking for adynamic, energetic and future focused leader to lead the specialist CommunityMental Health and Addiction Teams in South Canterbury.
As an outcome of theNational He Ara Orange Report in 2018, there are developments andtransformational changes planned for the Model of Service Delivery in South Canterbury.
There reshaping of the model includes Primary Mental Health, Mental Health and AddictionNGOs as well and the specialist services.
We are also very mindful of theaffects of COVID 19 as the world continues to live with the pandemic.
Even more than everbefore, we need to make sure all mental health wellbeing services and supportsare integrated. We need to have effective pathways so that people have access,choice, and reduce the inequities that exist.
You will lead a teamof committed health professionals in the community MH service, addiction andother drugs service, and the TACT team, with a focus on improvingoutcomes for clients andtheir families / whanau aligned with He Ara Oranga.
You will have apassion for not only developing and enhancing your own strengths, but those ofyour team as well. As a leader, you will value and engage your staff.
You will provide them with support and direction, while encouraging ongoingprofessional development in a client centred service.
Your soundprofessional judgement will also be needed to ensure clinical practicestandards are met and the service running smoothly.
