In addition to working closely with the Executive team and other senior stakeholder across the business and act as the 'face' of Genesis in the media.
Key responsibilities : Help lead the design and implementation of processes, channels and initiatives that will positively manage the profile and reputation of Genesis with its external stakeholders.
Ensure that the Communications and Media Team is a proactive advocate of Genesis Energy's vision, strategies and business goals across all public channels.
Provide support to Genesis Chief Executive, Executive General Managers and the Genesis Investor Relations team to ensure that positive communications outcomes are achieved across the business.
including media relations and crisis management, designed to safeguard Genesis' positive reputation.Deliver best practice public relations advice and service including project management of events, shareholder meetings and writing of corporate publications.
Enhance Genesis Energy's corporate social media presence. Working in conjunction with Genesis Energy's customer and marketing teams develop a social media strategy that results in Genesis Energy meeting its social media objectives.
About you : 5-10 years' experience in either listed company communications roles or in public relations consultancies.A proven track record of proactively and constructively dealing both with a range of national news media, social media channels and with a diverse stakeholder base.
Demonstrated ability of working with senior executives within an organisation in such a manner as to gain their trust and confidence.
Strong leadership capability, a strong customer focus and the ability work with and lead change.Experience in leading and co-ordinating the publication of corporate reporting materials.
Degree in journalism or public relations, communication, arts, economics, business or other related major.A collaborative, proactive and engaging style will be key in enabling you to work alongside the wider business and external parties.
Additionally, demonstrated influencing and stakeholder management skills, business partnering experience, strength of character and a strong, credible track record of delivery and excellence in execution and are essential.
