Full time, fixed term (for 12 months) role based in Auckland CBDWe are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Strategy and Planning team here at Auckland University of Technology.
Strategy & Planning is responsible for providing advice and information that informs and influences the strategic direction of the university and supports senior-
management decision-making.In this role, you will pull data together to build dynamic reports and visualisations in Power BI, create insights and write short reports suitable for a senior audience.
You could be reporting on performance, working in databases, using tabular models or SQL. We operate as a team so you will be very flexible in your approach and be willing to assist as and when required.
We are looking for a candidate who has : At least three years' experience in data analysis and producing reports for senior audiencesExperience using and an understanding of databases, with some experience of tabular models and SQLExperience with predictive analytics and or modelling would be an advantageExperience using Microsoft Power BIThe ability to use initiative and think independentlyStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenThis role will suit someone who is able to self-
