The purpose of the role
and your unique contribution is to manage contract and supplier relationship management programmes including the execution of continuous improvement iniatives throughout the life of the contract for motor, home and contents suplliers to ensure IAG NZ achieves sustainable competitive advantage, business growth and exceptional customer experience through strong partnerships
Key Responsibilities :
Manage the supplier onboarding, management and exiting activites for preferred suppliers
Manage motor, home and contents supplier performance for assigned suppliers to achieve customer service and cost improvements
Lead regular supplier review meetings to drive optimal performance and realise contracted value
Lead competitive commercial process including pricing and contract negotiation processes (activites include RFX process, commercial negotiation, contract drafting, contract execution, database management, supplier issues / concerns resolution and contract renewals)
Operationalise the Supplier Performance Framework, continuously evolving it to meet regulatory requirements (e.g. supplier risk and materiality assessments to ensure supplier compliance with IAG requirements)
Identify opportunities to improve supplier relationships and processes through regular meetings, discussions and site visits to closely understand operating models and processes.
Report on supplier spend and usage
Escalate supplier issues to the Technical Specialist, Supply Chain to resolve efficiently and effectively as well as provide recommendations on how to resolve the issues
Ensure all suppliers are Health and Safety pre-qualified and all documentation is up to date, including required insurances to meet Health and Safety compliance requirements
Collaborate with IAG Australia Model Performance and Category Management teams to look for synergies within the teams and supplier relationships
Skills & Experience
Experience with managing supplier relationships and performance
Experience in the preparation, negotiation, renewal and management of commercial arrangements and contracts
Stakeholder management, communication, analytical, negotiations and organisation skills
Self-motivated and proactive Attention to detail
