Are you someone who loves the outdoors, has lots of practical skills and enjoys working with people, threatened species and plant and animal pests?
Applicants are invited for the position of Operations Ranger- Biodiversity, which can be based at our Alexandra or Wanaka Offices.
We are looking for a Biodiversity Ranger, who will work predominantly in animal pest control. The work requires strong field and office skills and involves supervision of staff and contractors.
The Biodiversity Team has a wide scope, collaborating strongly with tangata whenua, contractors, community groups, and neighbours.
Therefore, you'll be a strong collaborator, a self-starter who is able to work on several projects at once, and able to communicate well with a diverse range of internal and external interest groups.
Relevant experience in the field is essential.
