Our Auckland financial planning business are looking for an aspiring Financial Adviser to join their team. This is a newly created opportunity (due to business growth) where you will be mentored and supported by one of our experienced and highly respected Partners.
You will be set on the pathway to becoming an Adviser while supporting experienced Advisers / Partners to provide strategic financial planning and investment advice to clients within agreed time frames.
You will be the point of contact for client queries and ensure business and industry compliance of all advice documents.
Key responsibilities will include :
Assistance in preparing pre-meeting agendas and formulating strategies
Attending to the completion of post meeting action items, both advice, and administration
Managing the delegation of work to client services and paraplanning
Reviewing and following up tasks completed by client services
Reviewing and tasking Statements of Advice
Assisting in keeping track of and maintaining compliance obligations
General administration and support responsibilities
Establishing and maintaining relationships with existing clients and contacts when required

What we are looking for?
Experience in a similar role in Financial Planning or you may be a Finance / Business Graduate
A thirst for learning and a positive outlook
A broad knowledge of the different facets of financial planning
A passion for a career as a Financial Adviser
A relevant Bachelor’s degree
An interest in achieving or studying towards Level 5 Financial planning
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
The ability to work in a team environment
