Due to a recent retirement, the Asset Management team is now looking for an Asset Systems and Information Specialist to join our team.
We need an expert who has experience in complex interdependent technical problems to provide leadership and technical direction.
This role will be making improvements across the Council around capital and operational renewal programme planning. Advising and influencing decisions on asset related systems supporting the Facilities Business Unit, you'll be the guru when it comes to SAP, FME and SQL identifying and implementing technical improvements.
It would be a real bonus if you have experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM). With a keen eye for detail, you'll identify areas of risk and ensure these are captured whilst implementing mitigations and following best practice asset information management.
As this role includes close collaboration with other teams across the business and external agencies, you'll have demonstrable experience in working in multidisciplinary teams and be able to juggle systems / information management and people to align the technical activities and promote effective endorsements.
